Piazza Sorrento in Krefeld

Service is very good. We ordered 2 pizzas. They tasted fine, not so amazing though. I expected more in terms of the food taste. I loved the bread and garlic souce served before the food. Prices are average. The place has very nice ambience. Minus one star because it was very crowded and noisy. Tables are put very densely. Therefore we were trying to eat quickly and run out!)

Pizza like in Italy. I haven't had a better pizza in Germany. That's why I like going to Krefeld. The rim is super fluffy and the mozzarella actually tastes like mozzarella. (These are the two biggest problems I usually have with pizza in Germany. Unfortunately, the edge is often super hard and the mozzarella usually doesn't taste like anything.) I didn't have any of these problems here. Although we unfortunately had to take the pizza with us thanks to Corona, it didn't damage the taste in any way. Everything absolutely perfect! If I could I would give 10 stars.

I have been going to Sorrento for a very long time and am always amazed by the quality of the food and its selection. The only point of criticism: the prices have become more and more expensive over the years and it is now very difficult to get a table. Otherwise really great and always worth a visit.

Have been there several times, everything from the finest, no matter if starters / pasta / pizza / salad / dessert and ....... !!! The service is totally family-like and you feel right at home. Was there for the first time. The tomato soup was delicious. Unfortunately, the pizza had a very sloppy and mushy base. It may of course be intentional, but my idea of ​​a good pizza is different. In terms of taste, it was still good. For dessert I had a chocolate tart with vanilla ice cream (which, at least according to the taste, was not homemade). All in all it was delicious but only 3 stars because of the mentioned criticisms and the rather high price.

Food is all excellent and of a high quality. Unfortunately we had to pay min. Wait 20min outside. Staff is courteous and friendly, with small weaknesses in the allocation of tables. Can be recommended if you plan in the waiting time.

Very good Italian. On the outside the first impression is deceptive. Give inside very romantic and typically Italian. Delicious and especially juicy pizzas. There is a daily menu with interesting dishes as well as the normal menu for every taste. This restaurant also has exceptional specialists in stock, such as pasta dishes from the parmesan loaf or freshly tapped Grimmbergen.

We celebrated our company party there and the food was very, very good. Everyone really liked it. There was absolutely no criticism of the food itself. Only the service could be improved a little, it took a long time to refill and after dinner I got a cocktail from the waiter poured on my neck. After a short "Sorry" I sat there with completely sticky clothes and then had to end the evening.

The waitress is always in a good mood and despite a lot of effort, always has a little time for one or two fun. The pizzas are terrific, antipasti offers a lot of variety and tastes really good. The drinks menu includes Italian specialties, which I am very pleased and can only suggest. The dough is world class, the sauce is great and goes perfectly with the delicious mozzarella. The location of the restaurant is also pretty good, even if you decide to go there by train or train. Almost forgotten, but the meloncello is delicious too. All in all, you really have a very nice place here, where I really enjoy dining. Personally, I also think the prices are reasonable because you get a real pizza here too and not something that looks like a pizza, but only tastes like oil or something else.

The connection to the restaurant is very good. There is a good parking garage directly on site. The restaurant itself looks very good and well-kept. I ordered a pizza procida there and the look was first class. The topping was high quality and fresh. The only reason there is a star deduction is that the pizza has become mushy in the middle due to the fresh Morzarella and fresh tomatoes. Conclusion: really recommendable.

A great restaurant! Very well attended, but the workforce has everything under control! There are no long waiting times! And everyone is very friendly and cheerful! Very nice place and most probably the best pizza in the area. It is the place to go for trying the real neapolitan pizza! However i need to deduct 1 star mainly because when i was there last Sunday with my friends we did no really enjoyed the fact that the whole evening there has been a ln extremely loud music. This prevented us to relax and even having a conversation. So we ended up leaving earlier then we had planned.
